Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Argument Injection via improper handling of non-standard hostnames in the ssh process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user by convincing the application to open a specially crafted Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) containing a hostname starting with '-o', which is interpreted as an SSH argument.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by ensuring that applications do not process Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) from untrusted or unverified sources.
