Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference via the WWW-Authenticate header. An attacker can cause the application to crash by sending a specially crafted 401 Unauthorized HTTP response.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding connections from client applications that rely on the libsoup library to untrusted HTTP servers until the systems are updated.
