Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Resource Shutdown or Release in the _TIFFmallocExt(), _TIFFCheckRealloc(), TIFFHashSetNew() and InitCCITTFax3() functions of the tools/tiffcmp.c file. An attacker can cause resource exhaustion by repeatedly triggering the allocation of memory that is not properly released.
