CWE-94  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade libtiff to version 3.8.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Execution. Heap-based buffer overflow in the PixarLog decoder in the TIFF library (libtiff) before 3.8.2 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors.
