Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the plugin-deepinid process when downloading an avatar from a remote server without verifying the TLS certificate. An attacker can intercept network traffic and substitute the avatar with a malicious or misleading image, or potentially identify the user by the avatar, by performing a man-in-the-middle attack.
