Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow via the snmp_parse_inbound_frame function. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by sending specially crafted SNMPv3 messages that manipulate the msgAuthenticationParameters argument.
