Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value in the caching_sha2_password authentication plugin when processing a large packet. An attacker can cause the server to crash by sending a specially crafted large authentication packet to accounts configured to use this plugin.
