Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Privilege Assignment in the SELECT process when the FROM clause contains only subqueries. An attacker can write unauthorized files to the server's file system by executing crafted SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE or SELECT ... INTO DUMPFILE statements without possessing the required privileges. This can lead to the disclosure of sensitive information or denial of service by corrupting or filling disk space.
