CWE-78  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade MariaDB/server to version 10.6.26, 10.11.17, 11.4.11b, 11.8.7b, 12.3.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via improper sanitization of the CONNECT engine's table HTTP attribute, which is interpolated into the curl command line. An attacker can execute arbitrary shell commands on the server by crafting malicious input.

Note: This is only exploitable if the CONNECT engine is installed and REST support is enabled on Windows.
