Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write via the do_net_ctrl() function in the drivers/net/virtio_net.c file. An attacker can cause the host hypervisor to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code.
Note: This is only exploitable if the attacker is able to access the PCI configuration space of the affected para-virtualized device.
