Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the pamusb-conf and pamusb-agent processes. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands with root privileges by supplying a crafted device UUID or username that is processed by shell commands. This can be achieved by connecting a USB device with a maliciously crafted filesystem UUID or by manipulating the XML configuration to inject payloads.
