Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Reachable Assertion due to improper handling of internal invariants when processing certain aggregation requests sent directly to shard nodes. An authorized user can trigger a condition that violates internal assumptions, causing the shard process to terminate or enter an unrecoverable error state. An attacker can exploit this by issuing a specially crafted aggregation request to a shard, resulting in server exit or service disruption.
