Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the $_internalJsEmit function and mapreduce commands. An attacker can cause the server to crash and potentially impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability by invoking $_internalJsEmit or the map function in a specific manner after authentication, followed by using the server-side JavaScript engine (such as through $where, $function, or the mapreduce reduce stage) in a particular way.
