Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Specified Type of Input in the $_internalApplyOplogUpdate process. An attacker can cause the server to crash or trigger memory out-of-bounds conditions by submitting a specially crafted binary diff to the aggregation pipeline stage. This is only exploitable if the attacker is an authenticated user with access to the aggregate command.
