Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference through the lookup function when processing an E42_RIC_SUBSCRIPTION_REQUEST referencing a non-existent E2 Node. An attacker can cause the iApp process to crash by sending a specially crafted subscription request with an arbitrary global_e2_node_id.
