Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the signature verification process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a crash by providing a crafted signed file containing an oversized digest field, which triggers an unbounded copy into a fixed-size stack buffer during verification.
