Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Implementation of Authentication Algorithm in the Pluggable Auth process. An attacker can disrupt service availability by sending specially crafted requests after authenticating with valid low-privilege credentials over the network. This is only exploitable if an attacker possesses valid authentication credentials and can access the database service across supported protocols.
