The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session via the connection handling process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive data by establishing a network connection with valid low-privileged credentials and exploiting the affected process. This is only exploitable if the attacker has existing authenticated credentials and network access to the database service.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by limiting network access to the database service to authorized hosts only, or by binding the daemon to localhost when external access is not necessary. Restricting connections using firewall rules or configuring the database to listen only on the loopback address can prevent remote exploitation.
