Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in the encryption component. An attacker can cause the service to hang or crash repeatedly by sending specially crafted network requests over multiple protocols. This is only exploitable if the database service is accessible to the attacker over the network.
