Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Access Control Bypass via the mysqldump component. An attacker can compromise the MySQL Server and potentially update, insert, or delete access to some of MySQL Server accessible data as well as gain unauthorized read access to a subset of MySQL Server accessible data and cause a partial denial of service of MySQL Server.

Note:

Exploiting this vulnerability does not require authentication but requires logon to the infrastructure where MySQL Server executes.
