Test your applicationsUpgrade NagiosEnterprises/nagioscore to version 4.5.14 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection through unfiltered macro substitution in the com_data parameter. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands as the nagios user by crafting notification commands that reference $NOTIFICATIONCOMMENT$ or $NOTIFICATIONAUTHOR$ in a shell-reachable position. This is only exploitable if a non-default configuration is used in which a notification command references these macros in a shell-executed command line.
