CWE-122  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade nasa/CryptoLib to version 1.4.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the Crypto_TM_ProcessSecurity() function in crypto_tm.c, which may exceed len_ingest. An attacker can overwrite adjacent heap memory and cause a potentially exploitable crash by manipulating the Secondary Header Length to exceed the packet's total length during a memcpy operation.
