Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow. The issue resides in the expand_mmacro function within the asm/preproc.c file. By providing certain malformed input to nasm, an attacker can trigger a heap buffer overflow, resulting in a read of size 4 beyond the allocated buffer.
