How to fix?

Upgrade neutrinolabs/xrdp to version 0.10.6 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the reassembly process of fragmented virtual channel data in the NeutrinoRDP module. An attacker can cause memory corruption, potentially resulting in application crash or execution of arbitrary code, by sending specially crafted data from a malicious downstream RDP server or by performing a Man-in-the-Middle attack. This is only exploitable if the NeutrinoRDP module has been explicitly compiled and enabled.
