Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the AlternateShell parameter during session initialization. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the server by supplying a crafted value for AlternateShell that is processed by /bin/sh -c prior to the normal window manager startup. This is only exploitable if the AllowAlternateShell setting is enabled (which is the default when not explicitly configured).
