Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function in the Xvnc process when initialized over UNIX domain sockets. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to active desktop sessions of other users by exploiting insufficient authentication mechanisms during session initialization. This is only exploitable if the Xvnc backend is used over UNIX domain sockets; other backends or Xvnc over TCP sockets are not affected.
