Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the virtual channel forwarding process. An attacker can cause heap memory corruption, potentially resulting in denial of service or execution of arbitrary code with the privileges of the affected process, by sending a specially crafted virtual channel message that exceeds the buffer capacity.
