Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the ngx_mail_smtp_module during the NGINX SMTP authentication process. An attacker can access sensitive information by sending specially crafted SMTP requests that trigger an out-of-bounds read.
Note:
The issue affects NGINX only if it is built with the ngx_mail_smtp_module, the smtp_auth directive is configured with method none, and the authentication server returns the Auth-Wait response header.
