Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the ngx_http_dav_module process. An attacker can cause the termination of the worker process or modify file names outside the intended document root by sending specially crafted MOVE or COPY requests when the configuration uses prefix location and alias directives. This is only exploitable if the configuration file uses DAV module MOVE or COPY methods, prefix location (nonregular expression location configuration), and alias directives.
