Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Untrusted Search Path via the installer process when it invokes powershell.exe without an absolute path after setting the working directory to the installation contextMenu directory. An attacker can execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges by pre-placing a malicious powershell.exe in a user-writable custom installation directory, which is then selected by a privileged user during installation.
