CWE-78  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the gpsprof process when handling the gnuplot plot title field sourced from the device subtype value. An attacker can execute arbitrary shell commands by embedding backtick payloads in the input, which are not properly escaped, leading to code execution as the user running gnuplot.
