Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Division by zero in the calculation of the PRB utilization metric in the fill_RRU_PrbTotDl and fill_RRU_PrbTotUl functions. An attacker can cause the 5G base station process to crash by sending a high volume of E42_RIC_SUBSCRIPTION_REQUESTs via the FlexRIC iApp, leading to a division by zero when two consecutive PRB aggregate samples are identical. This results in complete service interruption for all connected user equipment.
