Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow due to the sms_decode_address_field function during the SMS PDU decoding process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service condition by sending a specially crafted SMS message. This is only exploitable if the attacker has access to a compromised modem, a malicious base station, or can send SMS messages directly.
