Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow through the parsing of responses from AT Commands. An attacker can execute code in the context of root by leveraging the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data before it is copied to a stack-based buffer.

Note:

This is only exploitable if the attacker has the ability to execute code on the target modem.
