CWE-77  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade openNDS/openNDS to version 10.1.3 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Command Injection due to improper input validation in the configuration file processing. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the operating system by manipulating the gateway FQDN entry.

Note:

This is only exploitable if the attacker is able to modify the opennds.conf configuration file directly or indirectly.
