Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Array Index via the cups web ui when a user in the lpadmin group changes the configuration and inserts a malicious line. An attacker can trigger a stack-based out-of-bounds write by submitting a specially crafted configuration, which is then parsed by the cupsd process running as root.
Note: This is only exploitable if the attacker has lpadmin group privileges and access to the web interface.
