Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation via the ppdCreatePPDFromIPP2 function due to improper sanitization of IPP attributes when creating the PPD buffer. A remote attacker that has control of or has hijacked an exposed printer (through UPD or mDNS), could send a harmful IPP attribute and potentially insert malicious commands into the PPD file.
