Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improperly Implemented Security Check for Standard due to an indexing error in the HQC decapsulation functionality. As a result, the sigma component of the secret key is treated as non-secret, thus compromising the encapsulated data, which may be more easily accessible using malicious ciphertexts.
