Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the process of constructing the PROXY protocol v2 header for upstream connections. An attacker can cause the worker process to crash and disrupt service availability by sending specially crafted requests when PROXY protocol v2 is enabled for upstream servers. This is only exploitable if the configuration explicitly enables PROXY protocol v2 for upstream connections.
