Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Over-read in the sc_compacttlv_find_tag function. An attacker can cause memory corruption or potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying specially crafted compact-TLV buffers that claim a value length exceeding the actual buffer size, leading to out-of-bounds pointer returns and subsequent unsafe memory access.
