Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Control of Network Message Volume (Network Amplification) via UDP, due to allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to register arbitrary services. By using UDP and spoofing the source address, an attacker can request the service list, creating a Denial of Service on the spoofed address.
