CVE-2014-3566  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-329  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade openssl to version 1.0.0o, 1.0.1j or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Generation of Predictable IV with CBC Mode. The SSL protocol 3.0, as used in OpenSSL through 1.0.1i and other products, uses nondeterministic CBC padding, which makes it easier for man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain cleartext data via a padding-oracle attack, aka the "POODLE" issue.
