Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Partial String Comparison in the hotplug_call function due to improper filtering of environment variables. An attacker can gain elevated privileges by injecting a crafted PATH variable when executing scripts, allowing control over which binaries are executed with higher privileges.
