Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Protection Mechanism Failure due to improper masking and updating of the henvcfg fields in the RISC-V Hypervisor CSR implementation. An attacker can cause incorrect virtualization configuration enforcement or trigger unexpected traps by performing machine-mode writes to menvcfg, which can implicitly alter the hypervisor's environment configuration.
