Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the PAM image parsing process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by submitting a specially crafted PAM image embedded within a DICOM file that triggers an integer overflow during buffer size calculation, leading to a heap buffer overflow during pixel processing.
