Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the allocate_buffer function. An attacker can achieve heap corruption and potentially execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by supplying a large value to the ban_details_records_count configuration parameter, which leads to an integer overflow and subsequent buffer overflow during packet storage operations.
