Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow due to improper buffer allocation in the openssl_encrypt process when using the AES-WRAP-PAD algorithm. An attacker can cause memory corruption and potentially impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability by providing specially crafted input that triggers a write beyond the allocated memory.
