Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion in cleanup_xml_node() in ext/soap/php_xml.c, which walks the parsed XML tree with no depth limit, as do get_node_with_attribute_recursive_ex() in the same file and master_to_zval_int() in ext/soap/php_encoding.c. An attacker can crash the process with a single request by posting a SOAP body containing tens of thousands of nested elements, which exhausts the call stack during the walk. This requires only an exposed SoapServer endpoint with no special configuration, and the payload compresses to a few kilobytes, so repeated requests drain a PHP-FPM worker pool at negligible cost.
