The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Test your applicationsUpgrade piastry/cifs-utils to version 7.6 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Execution with Unnecessary Privileges in the cifs.upcall process. An attacker can gain root privileges by influencing NSS module loading through manipulation of user and group resolution operations after entering attacker-controlled namespaces but before privileges are fully dropped. This is only exploitable if the cifs.spnego key type is registered, the cifs-utils request-key rule is present, and the attacker can create unprivileged user namespaces.
