Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the VP9 RTP unpacketizer due to insufficient bounds checking on the payload descriptor length, which may cause reads beyond the allocated RTP payload buffer. An attacker can access sensitive information or cause a crash by sending specially crafted VP9 Scalability Structure (SS) data.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the VP9 codec if it is not needed.
